David was 3rd or 4th, wasn't he?
Surely there's no way he can be that popular, lol.

Besides, in a vote to save at this stage of the game, loads of votes were tactical ones (eg. people voting for Lisa just to try get Bea out, and vice-versa), not all fans of the safest hm's even bothering to vote, and so on. So it's not necessarily a good gauge as to who is most/least popular.

About the order? Davina told them that it was in no particular order.

I know that but some of them are paranoid and I loved the fact that Lisa obviously thought she was going to go. Big Grin
I did think at first it was in order of popularity until David's name was called.

And you know that for a fact? Do you not think BB is playing with them? they are really not so stupid as to do it in order of popularity. Leaving lisa to the end with Hira is just a ploy to give team Smug more rope in which to hang themselves. can't wait!

In no particular order is just that ..........in no particular order ..........BB MIND GAMES!

Nod And david was quite high up in order of popularity if that was correct! Now, I like david, but according to all the polls he was in the bottom 4 and they are usually quite accurate

Cos that's how you want to see it.

As if BB would do it in order of votes cast Roll Eyes

How many years have you been watching BB Confused

You took my remark wrong. I was meaning they deliberately left Lisa near the end to make the order seem more important and relevant than it was.

I think you're right.
There's no way that Davina read them in percentage order. Never mind that BB would never do that: does anyone really believe that Freddie came 6th, or David 4th?

However, there's no way it was totally random either. There's a skill to these "It's not you" type moments, and it's been honed over many different shows.

Remember, Davina had two audiences: us and the HMs. Her delivery had to be worded carefully for both of them.
We knew that Bea, Lisa and Hira were the favourites to go (David had dropped well down the betting by the time the polls closed), so they were left to the end for our benefit.

As for the others, their order would be geared more for the HMs. The HMs assume Freddie is popular, so he was placed well down to give the impression that he isn't. Conversely, the HMs would assume that new HM David wasn't popular, so he was mentioned early-on to give the impression he was.
Siavash would be mentioned first to rub in the "fact" that it was all his fault.

With hindsight, I imagine there was a lot of backslapping at Endemol over how well it turned out in the end: the sight of Lisa getting her jacket and preparing to leave must have been better than they hoped for...

If they're going to do it like I'm a Celeb, she should have named one of the remaining two in the middle or so, and not at the end. Would be more exciting if she named a certainty to stay like Charlie 'it might be you'. Give the fake something to worry about Wink

I was thinking they might do that at the time. Increases the suspense. Smiler

Nah - they wouldn't want to open themselves up to accusations of copying competitors.
They got enough criticism last year for lifting the "Split or Steal" game from Goldenballs (another Endemol show).

But Charlie is one of the favourites of the producers, they wouldn't want to give him too much to worry about. Same with Rodrigo. They want to push this fauxromance/showromance.
