Gob smacked, poor David. He certainly didn't look well in the house, but he had a tour organised, so must have felt well enough for that. Hopefully quick & painless for him.
The mix-up when Bowie died and housemates thought David Gest had died was eerily prescient.

Yep. I remember him on both shows and thought he seemed a genuine bloke and entertained me more than most of the CBB celebs. 
I don't honest;y understand why he has been so slagged off for such a long time .

Very sad news RIP David Gest.
As others have said he was one of the more interesting characters on the celeb RTV circuit.
Fond memories of him particularly from I'm a Celeb... recall with some hilarity helping to run his "fan thread" on the c4 forum (along with katty and strike)... Nov 2006 almost a decade ago!
