Hi Dave, tried to reply but your thread is locked. The day we moved over to the fabulous GaGa, I never had no baggage, still don't. Loving the forum. I also know your American FM's pay for the 'Privilege' we got this for free, I'm very grateful.

Completly agreed. I carry no baggage with me, glad to have somewhere to chat with fans of the same show as me. I stay out of it all as do most. The rules are clear, follow it or be gone

I think it's quite pathetic that Dave has HAD to post that.

Why can't people be grown up enough to just ignore any inflammatory postings/comments, instead of adding their self righteous rantings and ravings

Not sure what this thread is about but I've brought no baggage here, never been banned from any Forum over the years on many Forums, and if only Ch4 counts here never been banned by them or chastised in any way in over 6 years of being part of their Forum.

If some come here to flame others I'm sure Dave and Co can handle them

I think they know who they are talking about and are generalising it so as not to single those people out... at the moment.
It was a fair admin warning post but warning is the operative word.
The moderation on here is very very good. They are firm but fair and that's all, we as FM's can ask for for a happy forum.

... as with day to day life their are different perosnalities that sign up to chat and debate, some volatile, some easy going, to put some reminders of the rules up before it gets too bad is a wise and sensible decision.

I would say that the vast majority of FM's are just grateful for somewhere nice to hang out. Most of us don't really have a clue what all the C4 baggage is about anyway and don't get involved, I think sometimes people get drawn into stuff without realising what's going on. Anyway, I'm sure most will heed your advice.

I'm glad to say that (for years) I've always been so far out of the loop re. feuds / cliques that, when I visit, I usually require an executive summary. Ignorance really can be bliss. I have enough stress in meatspace.
