It were difficult for me last night," said David this morning as he settled in for a heart-to-heart with Big Brother. Still reeling from his set-to with Bea last night, when she told him she heard his name being called out over the Garden wall, David was in a reflective mood in the Diary Room. It seems his hot and cold relationship with Bea has definitely cooled to arctic temperatures now.
"It got heated and she doesn't leave things alone," he explained. "Especially when she's had a drink. It felt like she wanted it to hurt. It's upsetting. But I've woken up in a better mood today."
Never the shrinking violet when it comes to finding out gossip, Big Brother wanted to know more. "David, you said Bea wanted you to feel like 'crap'. Can you explain?"
"It was when she said she heard my name over the wall," he began. "She just wouldn't let it go. I thought she was trying to make me feel like crap. She was trying to put words in my mouth - I'm a strong cookie, I don't care if people have an opinion about me. But when someone's just going on and on and on, it's hard to deal with. We're not getting on anymore. We're saying hello and that's it. She said 'I want to be your friend' and I said, 'You've got a funny way of showing it'. And she said, 'What? Cos i nominated you?' It wasn't the nomination really. I feel like she's used me as an emotional punchbag. That's what's hurt me."
David looked sad. "I felt like I was special to her and then she said she nominated me for something I said in the Bedroom while we were having a laugh. I felt we'd had a real special week, but it obviously wasn't from her side. Now she's drop me like a hot potato."
That's gotta hurt.
