But I also saw the two members of the band again when I was brought tickets for Bill Bailey... Tinselworm tour I think it was...

Sometimes I worry about me.

I'm a big fan of Bill Bailey from way back - used to see him when he was starting out at the Edinburgh Fringe.

It's sometimes forgotten know, but he was originally a musician, and much of his early comedy was music-based. The high point of his early shows was the performance of nursey rhymes in various musical styles - culminating in "Richard Clayderman"'s interpretation of "Three Blind Mice" - complete with glitter-ball!

BTW: I'd like to think his "Hokey-Cokey" routine was inspired by this:

That's Kevin Eldon.

Never mind Brian Ferry, though: is it just me, or does he look more than a little like Gary Numan in that routine?

Ah, you see, my youth and TD era was the 80/90's so I went for those, but I have been going back in time and picking up all those album you mentioned plus Force Majeur. My faves are White Eagle and Logos Live.

Ah, I'm with you now GJ. Yes, TD are very prolific, I have got all the albums from the periods I want, but like you will not be getting all of them. there is also a lot of compilation and official bootlegs. I have some soundtracks, but really want a copy of The Keep.

Hi Xochi and GJ,

I'm so pleased we all like Tangerine Dream (whatever period or album) that I need to do something to express my immense joy

So I am going to get out all of my TD CD's and take a photo of them and post it here. A bit self indulgent - yes, but what the hell !!

If I can get to the vinyl I may even post that.

Don't make me post pictures of my Zappa collection!

I have a friend who is a big Zappa fan too. Go on, photograph them. I enjoyed getting them all together. Some I have listened to, the more recent purchases (with price stickers) have not been listened to as yet.

To be honest, I put all the official stuff on my iPod and ebayed them. I have probably thirty boots and an aluminium box containing most of his live concerts. Then a whole bunch of covers and some of their live concerts! Some of my friends can't bear to let anything go and have whole walls bedecked with everything in every format and every different mix.

Err, that would be me !!!!

One day I may post a picture of my music room - once I have alphabetised and ordered my entire collection.

After Phaedra, you should have a listen to other albums you don't own via YouTube / Spotify / Grooveshark etc. Let's get Xochi digging out some old TD and listening to it too

I am planning on trying to take off Friday & Monday. Would be a good time to listen to some of the TD's I have not yet listened to. Phaedra seem like a good place to start - I'll follow your lead.
