Afternoon Darnies Well my day didn't turn out quite as expected First we woke up to a power cut ....or rather a wattage shortage ( 20v rather that 80v ...according to a neighbour ) ....it meant that things like the heating , water, cooker, microwave , and TV didn't work at all , things like the kettle worked VERY slowly , lights were VERY dim ..it also knocked the landline phones out .....but on the plus side we could still charge our phones and the wifi remained on .......go figure  Apparently it was the whole of our area ......i guess someone forgot to put a shilling in the meter !!! Anyway , it finally came back to normal at about 11.30 ! Then my GD text to say she has the dreaded cold , so wasn't up to meeting us today But in the plus side I finally got around to watching Xmas Downton ....and awwwwww 

 

Anyway , hope you are all having a decent day . Catch you later
