They sent him a few emails Which he ignored. He had like a pastoral tutor assigned to him (as everyone does).... but they just emailed him in the first week telling him to contact them for an appointment....which he just ignored. There's just not the support at uni unless you seek it out, and he would never do it.

yes can see that and TBH most peeps wouldn't -what about a uni near home to finish or re-start his course?

I'm not sure where we stand on finishing it, but he has not interest in doing so anyway. He would like to do Computer Science, but he can't start again from scratch cos you can only have four years of student loans for what should be a three year course.
