It was fine.... tiring day traveling, but that's the same whenever you fly I suppose. 

That reminds me, at Tenerife airport they shuttled us to the plane in a bus, and there was a man being given CPR on the ground near the plane. We googled Tenerife news when we got home. He was an airport worker and he died. He was only 37. Poor bloke.

oh noooo - just somebody who works with OH goes on cruises regularly but usually goes from Southampton -they flew this year and said it was a nightmare when they were all trying to book in  at the airport- glad you found it OK

On the way there was no issue .... but yeah, the return journey was a bit like that. Cos you're all deposited at the airport at the same time I'm a pretty patient person though, and there's not much difference in standing in a queue or hanging round the airport waiting to board. You're there for the same amount of time. 

There were some people getting a bit irrate though..... COVER YOUR EARS BAZ.... mostly pensioners.

There was one women who was very upset because they didn't have a wheelchair free, so she couldn't be fast tracked through the queue. She was given somewhere to sit though, and still got through a lot lot quicker than all the people standing, once a wheelchair did became available. Christ she didn't half moan! She weren't getting much sympathy from Duds', I can tell ya.

I was gonna go to bed and snuggle up with my kindle half an hour ago, and give the midnight thing a miss, but there's only 15 mins left now.... may as well see the year through to the bitter end.
