It's not QUITE as bad as it sounds..... you are supposed to use the hand sanitiser whenever you enter a food area, or get back on the ship anyway, but usually they're just on the wall and you use it as you pass. We were at the airport in Tenerife and had gone through security etc. We had a bit of time before boarding so were on the hunt for some food for lunch. None of the shops we could see had any normal food....just chocolate, but eventually we found a way down to the next floor where the other shops were.

There were two down escalators with a flight of stairs between them. We were half way down the stairs when I suddenly got worried about there not being an up escalator, so in a very panicky voice I said to Duds "hang on, how are we going to get back up again". He just turned around and looked at me like I had lost my mind and said "you're on a flight of stairs".

He's NEVER going to let me forget this one. He's saying he can't wait to tell people

welcome back Ducky My favorite holiday destination of all time, I used to go twice a year. There was a bar on the roof sold snacks, dunno if it's still there found a holiday snap of you...you look so tanned

That's good Well I hope you have a lovely time I'd better get myself to bed. it's been another tiring one today. The drive home from Gatwick took over 6 hours. It's supposed to be just under 3, but the traffic was horrendous. You'd think it was Christmas or summat

I'm stuffed full of buffet , have had my nails painted with purple glitter varnish....have watched Elf and we are now watching Home Alone ...Christmas is alive a well here
