They are asleep, but Caitlin is coughing a lot  She has been for a few nights...

Awwww You will have to careful taking her stocking in then Do you do that ? We used to put the kids toys in pillow cases ....just as my parents did ....no ready made SANTA sacks then Some Xmas 's we had to wait until the early hours to do it as the little * Angels *  lay awake !!!

lol  Yes I know what you mean!!!  I used to have a pillow case.  They both have got Santa sacks and we leave them by the Christmas tree on the landing - I will wait until we go to bed!!!

Early morning for you then How is your mum ? What time do you normally have Xmas dinner ?

Mum not too bad today, I'm supposed to ring hospital tomorrow re: her transfusion, but she's saying not to ring until Boxing Day, so they can't whip her in until Saturday

 

We normally eat about 1 - do you have yours early or late?

we would normally have it mid afternoon ....but as we are having it at my daughters it's 1 o'clock sharp !

Oh, it's very precise is it?

Mainly it's because my grandson has to go to his dad in the afternoon  

I'm dying to open the big present from my son under the tree ...it's been there for three weeks now

Day was good ta. Yours?  Had our dinner and I wanted seconds but couldn't get past anyone so had to do without  

Jo run Phil and June home and I went hospital visiting with her as I didn't want her to be on her own (there was no one else gonna be there). Then she dropped me off 

Awww ...bummer on the seconds .....and hope whoever was in hospital is ok  

 

Mine was lovely.....apart from the fact the central heating has gone on the blink!! Got up to no heating and no hot water ! Guy could have come out today but of course we were off to my daughters ....so he's coming first thing tomorrow ... Thankfully we have an immersion heater and an electric fire in lounge ......but rest of house is like a fridge .....and it's supposed to snow tomorrow  

Jo's Great Auntie (my sis in law's) Auntie June, just had a massive stroke  Bummer on the heating thing, like you say, good job you were going out for the day. Let's hope he comes early enough in the morning

Yes, I was a bit peeved this morning ....and bang goes my lie in tomorrow ....but then I thought about those families in Glasgow and realised how blessed I am  

She's 79 but she's a sprightly 79   does what she can for herself. It's her adopted son that's causing problems and rifts within the family 

 

Yes, it must be a sad Christmas for them and we wonder will they ever get over it  

Oh I see ....well fingers crossed it's a mild one and she gets over it quickly  

 

And no, I can't see that they ever can ...especially the lady that saw her daughter and mum and dad killed Like I say , makes all our problems seem trivial  

She seemed bright tonight  obviously has movement problems but is talking coherently  

Here Pam ....you'd have loved our present from my son ..12 bottles of very posh wine ....6 red, 4 white , and two real champers  

Oh well that sounds promising ....at least she can communicate .....my aunt had amassive stroke ....and never really came out of it ....if you know what I mean ...
