hi ros hi baz yep she arrived and now they've gone  i've got the house to myself well big one is in her pit but that is pretty much the house to myself anyway they're in dublin in my dads then heading to cork to his dads back on wednesday...so i've been cleaning, wrapping and shopping 

Oh I see ....I thought she was staying with you How are you feeling? 

yeah she is they're just going visiting...i get peace and quiet for a few days best christmas present ever  i'm not too bad the wrapping and shopping is tiring but at least i'm off work...i've been wrapping for hours and i'm still not finished

Awww It's amazing how tiring wrapping is ....even without the RA

yes it is -and seems more tedious these days

it sure is i did the usual everything piled into binbags then hidden...thinking i've finished and realising there's more under the bed but at least i can leave it lying around cos there's no one here

ros he's taken her and his daughter to visit my dad and then his dad so i get peace 

. I do mine a bit at a time ....a few parcels a night .....

. I start as soon as the tree is up ....hides base ....until I start giving them out  

when the girls were little i used to love wrapping on christmas eve with a wee drink watching telly but can't do that now they're older and wandering about

Yes ....I remember wrappIng at about midnight Xmas Eve ....once I was sure they were finally asleep !

those days are long gone now....wee one grabbed me the other day and made me promise that santa is real cos all her friends say their parents buy them...i just avoid answering directly  cos i can't lie
