Baz, did I tell you that Duds applied for a HGV apprenticeship but didn't even get an interview? Well, if I did...read on....and if I didn't, well he did....now read on....  

 

He didn't hear anything for weeks, so assumed that was it, but when he checked the apprenticeship website on Friday, it was flagged up as "did not attend scheduled interview" But they hadn't even told him he had one!! 

 

Anyway, he contacted the training provider and they asked him to send in his CV again and they would try and arrange another interview. We had assumed it would be too late and that it would have already gone, but it doesn't sound like it, and the bloke on the phone was trying hard to sell it to Duds, so fingers crossed

What do Smurfletts want for Xmas Smurfy?

I went into town to do a bit of shopping today....and deeply regretted it.  I've decided I'm Christmas shopping online only!

Usually the crowds and the music (bagpipes today, yay ) get me all excited for Christmas. Today it just made me want to commit mass murder.   I'm unsure if it was because we're not doing Christmas this year....or just cos the bagpipe player wasn't up to scratch

Awww I have to admit I do the bulk of mine online .....I find myself getting annoyed with the crowds ....although  I do like all the lights etc.

The German Market is in Brum now until almost Christmas. Its beautiful especially  at night

sorry got distracted buying doll clothes for wee one's american girl doll...the dolls cost at least 100 quid  lucky enough she got her doll in a charity shop for 2.50 she showed me her list last nite...alot of stuff she won't be getting!! big one will get a phone and a pair of socks if she's lucky!
