It was a work day today. A Level results. So a mixture of excitement and tears.

I've just ensured F&B's is off the menu for a good few months. I finally decided to go ahead and book a holiday for over the Christmas period. I've been a bit up and down about whether it was the right thing.... but now I've taken the plunge I'm very excited.

I'm definitely going to go with Summer's advice though and stuff a mini tree in my suitcase

We're cruising around the Canaries. 

We were just going to go to Tenerife to start with..... but I struggled with finding the right holiday. We usually go into full on explorer mode while on hols but this time I wanted something a bit more relaxing.... but I also can't cope with sitting on the beach all day. A cruise seemed like a reasonable compromise.  

Duds is a bit worried about the internet situation but he only has himself to blame as he refused to get involved with picking a holiday.  

How lovely ....lucky you A girl I used to work with did that one year ....had a wonderful time ...think it was a Thomson cruise ...

Just me and Duds. I've kinda told John (he's agreed to have Pops), but I haven't told my sisters yet. I'm seeing them both at the weekend. I think it's best to tell them in person....although I'm sure they'll be ok about it. They have their families... they'll be fine!
