The idea is to do something different so as to at least try and make this first Christmas without my mum a little easier..... but I don't think I can abandon Christmas all together. I'm just slightly too obsessed for that  

 

I'm looking at the Canary Islands at the min.... but I'm open to all suggestions

Last year I cried putting up our tree- mr summer was not himself at all. He still got me gifts and cooked dinner but I know he didn't enjoy it.

Canaries will be warm and not too far to travel

That's the thing isn't it. No matter how hard you try, a normal Christmas just isn't gonna feel normal.....so I might as well do something I wouldn't normally dream of.
