Well, we're off (hopefully) to Drayton Manor on Thursday and he's going to take Scatletts over to his Mum's on Friday... He's back at work Mon, Tuesday and Wed next week, then off down to SIL's on Thursday until Saturday and then he has the following two weeks off

Just to be clear. The ferrets are not camping. My sister/sister's boyfriend/niece/two dogs are camping.

On the way there some idiot in a mini over took a lorry on a bend and nearly crashed into me. 
I had to do an emergency stop and was milliseconds away from deciding to risk going off the road to avoid them. The mini nearly lost control completely! He was skidding all over the place, smokey tyres the lot. It was an old mini, obviously too old for anti-lock brakes. It was the closest I've ever been to having a serious accident! I was proper shaky from the adrenalin rush!
Lookng back now, even if he'd hit me we would probably have been fine, considering I practically drive a tank He'd have been a gonner though. Probably would have ended up under the wheels of the lorry.
I'm actually quite impressed with the skill he showed to get the mini back under control But I still hope it shook him up good and proper Though drivers who take those stupid type of risks probably have nerves of steel and are back to their old tricks within the hour.
