Sweet, the wood is for a garden fence. I dislike new wood if I can avoid it

The fencing my dad put up about 30 years ago, which was reclaimed wood, is just about on its last feet now. Hardly surprising tbh

Had a nice day - it was the first day of the village walkabout today (Mr. Scatts doing the Tombola), so I went for a bit of a walk round quickly!  MIL was over too.  Caitlin got very tired so we came home and they've both behaved today

It's when there are open gardens, stalls and attractions and loads of things on - really popular  

We are both doing the fun run in the morning and then the Walkabout again in the afternoon (though I will obviously be checking on Mum mostly!).  Mum actually got up for an hour this evening, I think she is getting fed up with herself...

Well, we cancelled the blood one on Monday, but her oxygen assessment is Friday and we really need to go to that!!

Yesterday was my first day completely pain free I've been back on the dodgy pain killers for the past few days but I think I'm finally over it!

My hearing is pretty much normal now ....but I go nearly completely deaf when I lie down  This morning I had my iphone alarm clock on full blast, on my pillow, and I didn't hear a thing. I have to wait for it to wake Duds up, who after about ten minutes will finally lose patience and get up and knock on my door. I've been really popular with him all week
