I had it as a kid GJ ....before they had jabs......and while I got my son immunised , my daughter was born   during one of the immunisation * scares* ....and I wimped out ....then she got it !!!! It was dreadful , and I felt terribly guilty .....so I concur with what you're saying .....immunisation is the way to go.
