It’s stopped raining but for how long?

Afternoon Darnies It rained heavily all night , and most of the morning , but the sun is poking through now .Not a bad night for me , but because of the weather no walk today .  Consequently , I’ve not done much today , just some washing , hoovering , emptied the bins, and cleaned the kitchen . Apart from that I’ve had a really lazy Sunday . I hope everyone else is also having a relaxing day .

By the way , I had a postal delivery this morning ….I had to check what bliddy day it was !🤣🤣🤣But on the plus side , it was to let me know that I would be getting the government  £300 energy grant on top of my usual winter fuel payment .

A cool, breezy but occasionally sunny day here. Some rain expected. We shall see

An indifferent night for me. I hope yours was better Bazzy and that you managed to get a walk in

I have been shopping, to the chemist and post office

The road sweeper came round this morning . It needn’t have bothered. There are more piles of leaves in the gutter than the was before

Afternoon Darnies Rained all night , and still very wet out , but I did manage a walk this morning , although with all the fallen wet leaves it was a bit dodgy underfoot !I also managed a little bit in the garden , but tbh it was too wet to do much ….and now it’s looking like more rain ! Aside from that  I’ve not really done much …just cleaned the kitchen and put bins out ready for collection tomorrow . I hope everyone else is having a good Monday .

Btw, the council came and fixed a leaky tap this morning. They had to turn the water off. Nice new taps but I thought I would  go and check all the rads in case he may have turned the water pressure up a little high. Good job I did. The rad in my bedroom has a very very slow leak. Got something under it. The council are sending someone asap today to fix it
