I know what you mean , but the oscillating tower fan I bought the other day has three speeds( and a timer) and seems quite good . I’ll put it on the landing during the day , and in the bedroom at night cos my bedroom catches the late afternoon sun so it gets quite warm …even with the windows open ….although closing the vertical blinds helped a bit .👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Afternoon DarniesWell it was quite pleasant here first thing , but it’s really heating up now ! But I got all my jobs done early , so now I’m sitting here doing naff all with the curtains and blinds drawn ….and the fan will be going on upstairs by late afternoon .
I’ve also got a cool pack in the freezer , and have put a pack of large wet wipes in the fridge ….so bring it on ! I hope everyone else is having a good Sunday , and managing to stay cool.
