Afternoon DarniesI hope everyone is having a good Thursday. It’s wet , but very mild here today . I had an indifferent night , but have been reasonably productive this morning . I cancelled the gas engineer because the heating has been ok since I rang them on Boxing Day ….Murphy’s law it will break down again now .But apart from not wanting to take up an appointment unnecessarily , I also , with omicron rampant , Ican’t see the point of having anyone in the house if I don’t need too .

Afternoon Darnies Lovely sunny day here …and really quite  warm . I didn’t have a bad night , so I kicked my rear into gear this morning .I changed the sheet , did a big load of washing , dusted , found places for all the lovely Xmas presents I got , cleaned kitchen , and even walked up to the postbox and mailed my grandsons birthday card . I have to admit I was quite scared about going out , but I masked up , and only saw a couple of people , both of whom did the 2 meter sidestep …..it felt like we had reverted back to the start of the pandemic .I hope everyone else is enjoying their New Years Eve .

Good morning Darnies

I hope your start to the New Year is going well

A sunny day here. A slight breeze but not too cold

The Cyrils and birds fed. The magpies seem to like the new bird seed. I put it separate from the small birds feeder but no doubt the little ones will have a chance too

Have a super Sunday everyone

Afternoon Darnies Been a busy day chez Baz Taken down the Xmas tree and decorations , dusted , washed , anti bac’d the M&S delivery , crammed as much as I could into the recycle bin (which thankfully gets emptied on Tuesday ), fed the birds , and the Cyril (s) . I had a nice piece of poached salmon for lunch , and that’s me done for the day.I hope you are all having a nice Sunday, whatever you are up to .

Hiya Good grief your day had been busy

We was lucky here our recycling and household refuse was emptied last Tuesday, which was a surprise to me

My household wasted was emptied last Wednesday , but it’s recycling and garden this week ….which given all the packaging from Xmas is just as well .😱😱🤣🤣Yes the Cyril(s) have been daily visitors for the last couple of weeks ….they are eating me out of bliddy house and home .🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Cyril number 1  wasn’t happy when Cyril 2 turned up this morning .🤣🤣🤣I’ve suspected for a while that there might be two of them , cos one of them had a bushier tail ….but nit seen them both together until today .🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

That’s good at least. Our garden recycling collection has stopped now until February/early March…

Once word gets around you’ll soon have a whole family there 😱😱😱🤣🤣🤣

Looks like we might be getting some snow at the end of the week ….it’s definitely going to be colder from tomorrow onwards !

I think our garden waste is starting again in a couple of weeks .👍🏻👍🏻I’ve just this minute ordered some more Cyril food .🤣🤣🤣I wish I could bulk buy it , but I can’t heave it about , so I have to get it in smaller quantities .🙄🙄🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tomorrow is going to be 11° here but no snow, at least not for the next week. It is going to get colder though
