A sunny start to the day here. Though it is clouding over now

Bazzy, I hope you had a good night and have a great day

I shall probably be back at sometime today

Afternoon Darnies Ive had the day from hell ! Firstly , the cold tap on my bath stopped working , so I rang British Gas ( cos I’ve got plumbing insurance with them ) . When I finally got through to them after hanging on the line for ages ,  they  came pretty quickly , looked at tap , replaced some sort of washer , but then told me they thought it was to do with the shower attachment, but that shower parts aren’t covered by the insurance ….even though the bliddy thing is part of the tap fitting ! Now I’ve got neither cold or hot water to the bath ! So I called the guy who fitted my outside tap and loo seat , and he can’t come until Monday ….so I’m back to washing in the darn sink until then ! Anyway , after I had calmed down , and counted my blessings , I went into the cupboard where the main stopcock (which the gas guy turned off to do ….or rather not do ….the tap and it looks like it’s leaking  ! So it looks like I will need to call them again ! And breathe.

They can’t come to see to the leak until tomorrow , cos it’s not bad enough….but if it gets worse they will come out as an emergency ….go figure !Cue , one night worrying .

Afternoon Darnies A better day chez Baz . Plumber came , and hopefully , fixed the leak ! I even managed to get the shower to work this morning ,so I didn’t have to wash in the sink ….fingers crossed I can get it to work again this evening ! The weather is sunny , but very breezy , so I was glad I had my hoodie on when I went for my walk . Aside from that , I’ve done a load of washing and hoovered ….oh , and Cyril the squirrel appeared in the garden again this morning…. he was tucking into the bird food .

Mooniekins Lovely to see you …..and glad you are slowly getting back to normal .🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗Awww , your Cyrils sound  lovely 🤣🤣🤣🤣Ive noticed a cat mooching around my garden lately too .🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am wondering if my Cyril comes more often than I think , because I had to be up an hour earlier than normal as the plumber appointment was any time between 8-6 .🙄🙄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I’ve just been upstairs to try out the shower again , and guess what , the bliddy taps seem to be working ok again ! I thought it sounded like an air lock yesterday , and told the plumber that , but he seemed to ignore that ! Now I’m wondering if me using the shower this morning freed it up !Anyway , time will tell.

I see him and his crew about early, 7 to about 8 and then at various times during the day

Sometimes I never see them at all but know they have been about by the debris on the ground

Afternoon Darnies Well my day didn’t go quite as expected After a sleepless night worrying that I wouldn’t be up in time for the plumber, he cancelled !Its rescheduled for Wednesday ….time will tell ! On the plus side , it is a lovely autumn day , so seeing as I was up at the crack of dawn , I went for a 4K walk before breakfast .Aside from that , I’ve done some washing , hoovered , dusted , and just bin to put out now .I hope everyone else is having a good Monday .
