Heavy showers changing to thunder by lunchtime

Afternoon Darnies I had a bad night , and I’m very tired ,  so I’ve not done much today . I had to wait in for two deliveries ….one food , and one other …..so I didn’t go for a walk ….which probably just as well seeing as the heavens finally opened this morning It didn’t last that long , but it was very heavy . Aside from that , I had a couple of nice lamb chops for my lunch , anti bac’d the shopping , cleaned the kitchen and did a small load of washing and ironing . I hope everyone else is having a good Wednesday .

Afternoon Darnies How are you all today ? It’s quite chilly here ….but I slept quite well last night , and had to post a birthday card today , so I went out for my walk. Apart from that I’ve not done a lot …just a small load of washing , cleaned kitchen and managed to cram a bit more pruning in the garden bin . However , I’ve done a fair bit of *paperwork*. I paid my credit card bill, and ordered some birthday flowers. I also got a quote  ( and arranged) to have a large tree in my front garden taken down. It has got far too big , and I can’t afford to keep having it pruned every year . It’s not something my gardener deals with ,  so I’ve got a reputable tree surgeon coming next week , and they are going to fell it , chip the stump , take everything away , and returf the lawn . Fingers crossed
