I have just watched two half hour programmes called History In The Making. Absolutely absorbing

First one...

Medieval hinged hand armour how it would have been made then.

Flint axes and arrowheads again made how they were most probably made 2000 years ago.

Hand made clogs made by the last guy in the UK to make them by hand.

Second one...

A hand made cutlass with a skull as the hand guard.

A guy making hand made bowls on a foot operated lathe. His daughter making hand made spoons.

Hand printed wall paper made with a linoleum template.

Thoroughly engrossing hour 😁😁😁

A sunny start to the day but still rather chilly

Afternoon Darnies Another sunny day here ....although it feels a bit chillier than yesterday . I didn’t have a brilliant night , but I went out for walk this morning ....got to get some vitamin d while it’s around . I actually got to chat to some neighbours ...socially distant of course ....but it was nice to at least pass the time of day . Aside from that I cleaned the  kitchen and bathroom , washed , anti bac’d my M&S delivery , and had some nice lamb chops for lunch .I hope everyone else is having a nice Friday .

Just back from the park. What was two families of some 19 ducklings are on two families of 10 ducklings now

Nature I guess, above and below the water

On a better note, the swans are still in fine fettle as are the coots 😁😁😁

Mattress turned. Bed clothing changed. That was the third lot of washing

Afternoon Darnies Second jab done .No side effects , so far ....unlike my poor son who had a whole raft of them .Sunny day here , but quite chilly ....and it’s clouded over a bit now . My friend took me for my jab so we had a good old catch up ...talked more than I have in months ....from behind our masks , obviously .Aside from that , I had a dreadful night ...when I did manage to sleep I had horrible dreams ! So I’ve not really done a lot today , just cleaned kitchen , dusted and done a load of washing . ....oh and fed the birds .I am having a nice piece of M&S steak for lunch , and that’s me done for the day ! I hope your Saturday is going well, whatever you are up to.
