Afternoon Darnies Hope everyone is enjoying a bit of sunshine I slept better last night ...finally crashed out and slept a full 6 hours So far today I’ve hoovered upstairs and downstairs , changed sheets and pillowcases , ironed and cleaned kitchen ....so not a bad haul

Bad news...

I have just heard on the local news that Sandwell, that covers where I live is likely to go into shutdown because of a surge of confirmed cases of the virus

Afternoon Darnies Well , what a day ! Hot as hades  But I slept quite well again last night , so I steeled myself to go out for a walk before breakfast ....masked up , grabbed my handbag and phone ...checked my keys were in it ....and walked right round the block . Was patting myself on the back , until I got home and realised that the keys in my bag were the ones I took the front door key off to give to the carer in March Don't panic Baz I thought , the neighbour across the road also has a spare key ....except when I got there he wasn't answering his door , and after a couple of frantic phone calls , I realised he was out .....so then Baz went into full panic mode  So I sat in back garden ....luckily the vine gives a lot of shade ....and phoned the carer , who was at work and wouldn’t be able to get here for an hour or so Just as I was considering getting a locksmith in , the neighbour came home .....Phew Lesson learned , and front door key now firmly in place in my bag !  Apart from that , I’ve not done a lot .....just some washing and recovering  Hope everyone else is having a less fraught day

By midnight tonight it going to plummet to 20° 
Thereafter it will go down to 15° before it starts rising again to a high of 22° with heavy showers in the late afternoon
