Afternoon Darnies How are you all today ?A quieter day chez Baz .....but I did do a load of washing and cleaned the kitchen surfaces ....apart from that I’ve managed to get a bed sock on my ankle ....and sat by the back door and ate my lunch It was nice to hear other people , obviously going for their constitutional ....and got my binoculars out and did a bit if bird watching It’s amazing how little things can suddenly give so much pleasure ....lesson learned I hope Oh and I actually managed to put one foot outside the back door ....obviously not weight bearing ....and hanging on to the door handle ....but it felt like a major breakthrough...how silly is that

Afternoon Darnies How are you all today ? Guess who has been up on her feet today...albeit with the walker My friend (the nurse) came , instead of the carer , and maintaining social distancing , showed me how much weight to put on it . Got to do this for another three weeks ....but at least it gives my rear a rest Apart from that , I’ve cleaned the kitchen, changed my dressings and done a load of washing .....and not much else

Thats great news and that three weeks will go by so quick you won’t notice it 

Walking, changing your own dressing and a load of washing doesn’t sound to me like ‘not much else’

Good morning Darnies   

It began to rain yesterday afternoon and is still raining now. Not heavy but persistent. Cool too 

Its supposed to pick up again by Monday though

I got up to go to the loo this morning at 6.30. Looked out the landing window onto the back garden and guess what I saw?

A huge male fox with its breakfast in its mouth, waking down the garden path 
It went through our fence, stopped, look up our neighbours garden, when to their hurdle fence, crouched, bounded up and over it. Up the next doors garden and disappeared. 

It was absolutely gorgeous with its long fur and lovely long bushy tail 

Made for a great start to the day. It’s a pity I didn’t have time to video it as the whole thing only lasted 30 seconds or so

I haven’t seen a fox round here for several years Bazzy. I was in beautiful condition. Just like it had come out of a beauty parlour

It’s that cold here I’ve had the heating on but set to get warmer in the week too 

It stopped raining a little while ago but looks like it may start again soon
