Afternoon Darnies Hope everyone is well I couldn’t get any transport for my hospital appointment on Friday ....so my friend is going to take me ....we will have to manage somehow On the plus side I think my appetite is returning ....managed to make myself some battered cod at lunch time ....first hot meal I’ve had in over a week .Everything takes a lot of effort , and wears me out , but at least I’m managing to get around a bit better ....with the help of the commode

Afternoon Darnies Hope you are all managing to enjoy some sunshine . I slept a bit better last night .....and was feeling quite positive this morning .....got a few things done ....washed my hair , managed to do a load of washing and ironing ....but I’ve crashed and burned again this afternoon

Afternoon Darnies Hope you are all ok . I survived the run to the fracture clinic this morning ....and despite being a really complicated break ....which needed pins, plate and wire .....It’s all settled well apparently , and I am now in a boot. I have to spend another 6 weeks at various weight bearing stages , but effectively I’m discharged ....so no need for the hospital run ....thank goodness ! And on the plus side , I can now have a bath ....once we’ve worked out how to get me up the stairs

I’ve not had a bad day ....apart from the fact my WiFi has gone down I’m hoping it’s just a case of switching it on and off , but as the router is upstairs I have to wait for my carer to come in this evening . Just to be on the safe side though ive upped my data allowance

just popped in to check everyone is doing OK and Bazzles get that zimmer frame out, who knew you would be using it for more than zapping everyone   hope you're recovering well and being well taken care of

Hey there Barney It’s really lovely to see you . I hope you and yours are keeping well in these dreadful times . I’m guessing you’re not working ? . I have actually got a zimmer .....but it’s worse than useless on my thick carpets , so I’m having to scoot around using the commode  I’ve now got more metal in my ankle than a junk yard !

I feel your pain I actually broke my ankle falling down the bottom couple of stairs a few years back … got me out of a wedding I REALLY didn't want to go to so … small blessings  … only managed to break it in one place so not as professional as you  

We are all keeping well thanks, mum and dad are in self isolation, age and health conditions … my dad was due an op to have a tumour removed on Tuesday but it got cancelled, understandably but very frustratingly  

I am staying out of their way as much as I can but it is very difficult as we all live in the same house and I am still having to go out and about, scary times … if someone had explained this was going to happen a few months ago you would have called them mad 

I hope you are being well taken care of?

oh and yes, I am still working

No, because we are involved in the "construction" industry, while people are still working on sites, we have to carry on to be ready to make any changes to designs.   Most people are working from home, only me and the 3 directors in so we are able to keep well apart.
