Afternoon DarniesWell I woke up to no heating and no water  But my lovely gas man just came out and fixed it ....turns out it was the fan on the boiler Tbh I can get by without the heating ....I have a couple of electric fires ....but the thought of no hot waterLuckily my daughter came over this morning,  and I grabbed a cheap kettle while we were out....otherwise I would have been boiling water for  a wash on the cooker  Anyway , fingers crossed it will be ok now .  I hope your day is going better than mine was

Shopped and had a roam around a couple of the local towns 

Had to break into one of my outbuildings because the lock had ceased to work 

I finally managed to get in after several hours a couple of days ago and an hour today 

A new dead lock fitted. No damage to the inside or outside of the door but the old lock is a mess

Afternoon DarniesHope you are all having a good day . Cold and dull here, so it’s been yet more housework and washing for me ....although not as much as yesterday Weather is looking brighter tomorrow though, so I will pop into town ....and probably go to the library . My daughter is working again this weekend so it will break things up a bit 

Oh and guess what .....Cyril the Squirrel is back He was sitting there as bold as brass on the hedgehog house roof when I pulled the blinds this morning . Sammy was spellbound watching him from the window  He scampered around a bit , and nicked some food off the bird table , before heading off back to wherever he lives Anyway , it cheered me up no end ....at least for a while
