Up our park today an anniversary celebration is taking place. A tented village sprang up last week 

Its a Sikh parade to celebrate the 550th anniversary of the birth of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, which will end up at our park. Lots of road closures 

It should be quite colourful

Afternoon Darnies It’s boiling here ! I’ve not done a lot today ....but my friend popped around for an hour , which was nice ....and the gardener phoned to say he will be round tomorrow to mow the lawns ....so all is good in the hood Hope you’re having a good Sunday ...and managing to stay cool

Washing on the line very early. Shopping at the local shops. Two trips up the park. Very pleasant 

Minimally cooler than yesterday but set to get cooler with rain and the odd thunderstorm
