Afternoon DarniesTell me something to cheer me up Hope your day is going better than mine 

Last night when I was up the park our male swan was doing a good job of destroying the reeds. He was like a JCB with feathers  

 

When I was up the park this morning I saw 4 Coot chicks. Lil fluff balls

Afternoon Darnies Hope you’re all having a good day . I’ve not done a lot ....just some washing and ironing Had to take an extra chill pill   

My daughters partner graduates today though ....and I gave him Inchys Gucci wallet . I found it still boxed when I was clearing out a drawer . I’ve no idea where he got it ...he  certainly never used it ... I can only think it must have been a retirement gift . Anyway , he has taken it with him today , and I’m sure Inchy would have approved

Afternoon Darnies Well I survived my trial run  ....and I can now sing all the words to head , shoulders , knees and toes  It was pretty nerve wracking , but it must have done me some good cos I have just been out and attacked the vine etc growing over the pergola....a job I’ve not been able to face cos it reminded me of Inchy too much .  However , I actually quite enjoyed doing it ...it was very therapeutic hacking away at stuff  

Anyway , I hope you’re all having a good day ....and I await more pics of the cygnets and goslings

Good almost afternoon oh way to go Bazzy!!!! I bet they loved you

Afternoon Darnies Staggers in ....remind me not to buy anything new for a long time ....what a performance ....I’m shattered First I had booked and paid for a specific time slot , but they didn’t turn up then ! So I found a number and phoned the firm to be told I was next on the list ....I said ok , but requested the extra money I had paid back ....they said yes , ok ....so that was something Then within a few minutes of putting the phone down my mobile rang and it turns out the driver had got lost on my estate ....so I gave them directions and said I’d stand out in the drive 

Anyway , when they finally got here they were very nice ....but turns out that since we’d had the last freezer we had had a roller blind put on the back door , so it wouldn’t swing back and open fully .....so the blind had to be taken down before they could bring me in the new one and take out the old one  And that’s without the mess under the old one  Evenutally it was installed and now  I’ve cleaned up and I’m just waiting for the requisite period before I can switch it on....so I’m having a sherry

No, in my case it was lazy ....but it was a very fraught week last week so I needed to regroup a bit ....counselling tomorrow
