Afternoon Darnies Hope you’re all having a good day....despite the dreadful weather I’ve been to counselling this morning ( upsetting but cathartic)  and arrived home to find yet another *unable to deliver* card from  the postman Going to have to get my daughter to take me to the sorting  office on Thursday  On the plus side I had a phone call to say my new specs are ready , so that’s my Wednesday sorted!

By the way ,I meant to tell you ....I think all this crafting is rubbing off 😱😱....cos when I was in Hobbycraft with my daughter I ended up buying a bird box ( that needs painting) and some acrylic paints . So  on Xmas Eve I’m going to paint it up and the put it out for the birds on Xmas day

It’s ever so cute though ....like a proper little house ....mind you , my painting skills are as bad as my knitting skills ....but don’t suppose the birds will mind

she brought home the glockenspiel from school that we paid for  told her to learn jingle bells on it and she did

Bless her I guess it’s less painful on the ears than a recorder Yes , I like my rimless ones , but they are more difficult to keep smear free ....so gone back to ones with metal rims

yeah pretty much...got all the stuff for wee one's hamper will just have to put it together  not sure if i'll be able to get turkey for Christmas day but I'll do something wee one doesn't like beef  but she might have to lump it!!

yes of course they have turkeys but where to get a turkey crown...would have to order it and can't be bothered with all that...and can't be bothered with all the bones I want something easy to bung in the slow cooker
