Afternoon Darnies Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday . My daughter and her partner popped over and we went looking for a new electric fire for me .....without success , but at least now I know what size / dimensions I am looking for as my daughter took my existing fire out and measured everything for me  Plus they went up in the loft and started to clear it And whatever , it helped to break the day up for me

Nice to have visitors on a Sunday. As you say, it breaks up the day  

I don’t venture into our loft

I leave it to the gas engineer every twelve months

baz sounds like you had a pretty good day I fed my neighbour's cat, read her some magazine articles and we watched a bit of tipping point together...feel a bit sorry for her cos she's obviously missing her owner...we've had crazy rain this evening and there's a 'risk to life' warning for rain tomorrow  enjoy 'i'm a celeb'...we'll have to catch up with it next day

hi moonie I never go into lofts either  I had to pop my head into a loft years ago to get boxes to move and it was horrible

Bramble rolled on Fox poo 🙈 I had to shampoo & blow dry her and she looks really fluffy now!

Oh, rather you than me shampooing Miss Bramble 

well yes there was a slight/huge fear of things in the loft but it's also the lack of ventilation dead air  makes me shudder!! yet when we were kids we played in ours

I’m fine thank you. Been getting “I miss you & want you back” messages from the boy, but I’m ignoring them all.. then bumped into to him today! I was polite & pleasant but reaffirmed it ain’t happening. 

I hate all the hassle, it’s so much easier being single

We had a coal fire prior to that. I can still remember my mum or dad cleaning the ashes out every morning

Yes, so did my mum and dad....I remember my mum drawing it up the chimney by putting a sheet of newspaper over it
