Afternoon Darnies Hope everyone is enjoying their bank holiday Saturday  Started off raining here ....but sunny now . My friend popped round for an hour or two before she goes on her holidays ....so went to garden centre and got an autumn/winter hanging basket and an Inchy statue for the garden ....it’s a hedgehog sitting in an armchair drinking a cuppa ....as soon as we saw it we both went ...it’s him, it’s him So I had to have it .

We have had everything so far today weather wise bar snow and hail 

I have still managed to dry all my shopping though 

Awww, love the idea you saw and bought something that has brought back a happy memory 

My day has been fairly quiet. A visit to the DIY to get two pieces of wood cut and stained two shelf supports. They need at least 3 more stainings to get them to the same colour as the others 

Just been to do a little shopping so all done until at least Monday

❤️❤️❤️ I know about the Sunday bus services. They are very intermittent here but at least we have some. Bank Holidays are usually Sunday timetables 😡

Afternoon Darnies Nice weather for ducks here  Hope you’re all managing to stay dry

I’ve had a * small wave * day today ....rather than the big wave day of yesterday , so I’ve managed to get a few things done . Changed bed , and decided to put the autumn/ winter quilt on ....its usually a two person job....it’s one of those teddy bear material  ones ....but , with a lot of huffing and puffing ( and judicious swearing   I managed it ...and I also managed to stuff the summer one into the duvet case ....in a fashion ....I could hear Inchy tutting while I was doing it .

Apart from that I’ve done a load of washing and ironing , and am now ensconced on sofa with a bacon butty and a glass of wine watching Hinterland
