Spanish holiday 'red' day today...assumption of the virgin mary...most places closed...heard fireworks earlier the Spanish love their fireworks

wee one is fine apart from hot and sweaty she was happy to get swimming although by the time we got to the pool the sun was away cloudy today

her granny is doing ok  she's so deaf when wee one is on the phone to her she has to repeat herself about 10 times  but of course she insists she's not deaf

Oh right ...I never got up that far ....only made it up as far as Virginia ....and across as far as Louisiana
