Evening darlings another non stop hectic day here, but I’m actually at home for the evening!!!! I’m catching up on jobs and paperwork.. and had to go pick up some drunk friends who needed a ride home lol

I’m going to pop in and catch up properly after these jobs, but I just wanted to say hello and let you know I’ve not forgotten you xxx

Baz, if you want to watch something really silly and it doesn't clash with anything, BBC1 at 19.30 this evening there's The Great Cheese Race. Every year people gather at the top of a very steep slope on Cooper's Hill (which is a few miles away from me) and chase down the slope to catch a round of Double Gloucester cheese. If they catch it they keep it. Needless to say it's not the safest activity which is why the local council no longer give it the thumbs up but it carries on.

It's been going on for many hundreds of years, no one really knows why. It used to be just local people but it now attracts people from around the world.

No, I've never been to it

Hi Kaytee

I hope no-one fell into your garden

Someone I used to work with lives in a house on the hill itself (seriously expensive - bought it in a run down condition with the intention of doing it up so lived in the adjoining cottage during the years it tool). The house is not far from the cheese rolling slope.
