No fireworks here, Bramble is staying with my friends while I’m out tomorrow night, just in case there’s fireworks and they upset her

I have been off on holiday since the 21st and not going back until the 8th. Just relaxing, pottering and enjoying myself.

No. I usually go to bed early and get up early for a walk.

I don't drink very much these days and the prices for things are a rip off.

I love Jan 1st. Quiet in town, grab a coffee and enjoy the relative silence.

No, we’ve never really done NY ...started when we had kids ...couldn’t get babysitters ...and never really got back into it
