slobbed around today did very little...were out for a wee drink last night in our now local pub...a wee toast for an auld boy who had died think he was in his 80s

himself took wee one to see one of her friends with her new bike she bought herself so she was happy...as she says her first proper bike

hi bazzy we had loads yesterday about 5-6 inches but only snowed a bit this morning -son didn't come his GF tweeted Highways England and they  advised not to travel -Leeds and Manchester are expecting heavy snow-they have none at all

Tomorrow seems to have been downgraded a bit here 

they will be livid if they could have come buts on has to be in work on Monday so couldn't take the chance -he has  just changed jobs-still with Capita -different role

And probably snow in between areas  , so.....

heavy snow still predicted here on BBC weather yes agree bazzy it's such  along journey its silly to risk it

there's a Christmas fair in the plaza tomorrow with a brass band playing carols  I think wee one's gymnastic group are doing a show...she's decided to give up the gymnastics she says they're not teaching her anything it's just dancing...didn't think she would keep it up but it was good for her to do something while she had no school or friends

Afternoon Darnies Hope you are all staying warm and dry . We had some snow , but not nearly as much as I was hoping for  My day has been quite productive ...I’ve finished writing my cards ...and wrapped all the presents I already have .....so just a handful more to get this week and I’m done

She has an eye infection which is making it difficult to see her phone. She’s going to call the doctors first thing this morning and, hopefully, will get something prescribed via an appointment or telephone appointment.🤞🏻

Yes, you could say that  Saturday was good - we went to see Caitlin's Ballet and then panto in the afternoon and Mr Scatts' 50th in the evening (had a couple of friends round).  Then it snowed...a lot and we went sledging at the golf club on Sunday morning.  School was shut this morning (roads by us haven't been gritted and now they're forecasting -11 tonight, school have said they're closing again in the morning!

They are loving the snow!  They were quite happy to go for a long walk with Mackie this morning and loved that it's so deep over the fields...
