Christmas day we'll be on the beach  hopefully if I can get some deckchairs...bbq and brass band  boxing day the couple we've made friends with have invited us to theirs for a buffet...we'll maybe bring wee one's board games

Afternoon Darnies Hope you are all having a good Friday . We’ve only had a few snowflakes  But I managed to get a few more presents wrapped and two loads of washing done ....so not a total waste of the day

The piece of music in question is called Beyondness and it is composed by the late great John Barry. This is not soundtrack music but a track from an album he released a few years ago.

Listening to it brought a tear to my eye - hope you enjoy it too.

Bright sunshine here today - I took a couple of quick photos from the office today as I don't think people would believe me, beautiful blue sky and lots of sun.

Cold day here but no wind or snow. That is expected here overnight/tomorrow 

Shopped a little today although I didn’t really need too. In case tomorrow’s weather carries on into Monday

Afternoon Darnies Hope everyone is having a good Saturday . We had a fair amount of snow overnight ...and a few showers today , but it’s melting a bit now ....not that I’ve been out in it  Like you say Moonie ....we have the worst expected tomorrow  ....but I’m guessing you are finally all cosy with your new floor  I’ve changed the bed and done a couple of loads of washing and ironing .....and not much else

heavy snow still predicted here on BBC weather yes agree bazzy it's such  along journey its silly to risk it

I love proper snow like we had years ago  but doesn't compare to having 21 degrees here
