Afternoon Darnies Hope it’s not too rough (weather wise)  wherever you are today . It’s been a strange day here ....bright orange sun at one point ....then dark and sky yellow , as if it was going to snow ...it was actually fascinating to watch . Now it’s a beautiful sunny , spring like day , apart from the fact that the wind is really picking up .  We went out first thing and put away as much garden stuff ....took down hanging baskets , and tucked pots under bushes etc.   Anyway , stay safe everyone

Bazzy, Its been the same here. Lovely sunny start but now gusty winds. I have a couple of piccies of the “strange sun” from earlier today. I will post them later and put a link here 

I managed to do my chores before the real bad stuff set in. So I am a happy bunny :-D

Even managed to get up the park to see our family. Looking gorgeous and squabbling like siblings do 

Still eight cygnets 

Time for them to go soon. Bitter sweet time that be but at least they will at least have a chance of hopefully rear their own families  

Have a great evening. Hopefully the weather will get back to what passes for normal again soon

Evening Moonie Glad you got your chores done Pretty wild here at the moment .....but according to the Met Office website it should all be over (for this area)in a couple of hours ...so hopefully a quiet night ahead

It’s been a lot better than it is further west and North ....but still bad enough for me What have you been up to ?

I've been watching Ireland they've got it bad especially the south  in the north the schools will be closed tomorrow as well for storm damage!!

today we pretty much had a chill out day... wee one and myself practised our Spanish...I cleaned the apartment...and watched the soaps...how was your day apart from battening down the hatches?

I had to laugh even though everyone was warned about this storm my friends on fb were still queueing for bread in the shop this morning I am 1000s of miles away and I knew there was a storm hitting Ireland!!!

Yes, not sure how anyone didn’t know it was coming Yes , Eire had it really bad ....but Tayto says it wasn’t too bad where she is ...or at least not as bad as elsewhere in the country .

Hi Ros calming down a bit here ...thankfully ! How was your day ?

tomorrow himself is getting a tattoo so we will have about 4 hours to ourselves...so am gonna make a curry from scratch we got a slow cooker the best thing ever!! so have been making a lot of slow cooker things...can't believe we didn't get one before this  and think we'll definitely have to have a swim haven't had a swim in 2 days!! what are you up to?
