hi bazzzy and summer I was for a bit but went in  - slipped  on th ewooden floor - tried to grab the door from the extension into the lounge - it slammed on my fingers - i went into the glass door and then somehow fell back and landed on the floor - my fingers are bruised -

No, I can't do that ...that would be cheating But I need a foolproof system to make sure Inchy doesn't win !! It's a fab idea though  

The cat is fine (aside from the occasional near death experience as he wanders past the dog).   The dog is whimpery and won't settle.... I'm not sure what's wrong with her, she's been like it for a couple of days now, but she seems well apart from that.  My son is good, but he's not at uni anymore Ros... he didn't go back for his third year.  

Awww....do you think perhaps she's missing your mum ? 

aww cat sounds lovely and poor doggy - yes like bazzy says he is prob pining a bit aww can your son not finish at the local uni - did he get homesick?? perhaps he will want to go back after a break my sister works i n manchester met uni in the office and she say students leave all the time - and often take up the course they were doing near home
