It was a lovely weekend thanks Baz, but tiring.  We were out all day yesterday, setting up and doing the fun run, etc.  How was your weekend?

Awww that's good How was Caitlin's singing ? How's your phone ?My weekend was ok thanks .....didn't do much just housework and a bit in the garden

We finally had some light rain  

More promised for later today but not looking like it at present 

Shopping done and parcels posted, so that's me finished for the day

Afternoon Darnies Loads of rain here  Had a very productive day chez Baz Sideboard arrived at 8.10 ....and looks great ...very good match for our existing dining  room table. Man came and dug  out the remaining tree trunk etc and cleared the front bed ....so we've picked up some topsoil and once weather picks up we can dig over and replant  Oh and I ordered a new coffee table about an hour ago , and they've just rung to say it will be delivered tomorrow  And on top of all that I've changed the bed and done two loads of washing  Hope everyone else is having a good day ....especially the camping duck

I see you have been 'annoying' your purse again too 

 The duck is camping, Bazzy? 

I hope the weather is being very kind to her 

I have done washing too but the intermittent rain means I can't dry it. I am not bothered because the rain is needed here 

The next three days are looking better washing drying weather though 

I had fun with the gate at the bottom of our garden that opens onto the recreation ground. The lock had rusted in so I had to remove the whole draw latch. Then put it in the vice in the shed and bash it with a hammer and chisel until it submitted 

I never knew it would be so stubborn but I won in the end. It's just a small pile of tangled metal now 

Latch refitted and new padlock fitted. Job done

wee one is bored rigid himself took her to the cinema last nite to see that ape film

big one is enjoying her time off work as it's holiday time here  she's in a 'marching' area so I told her to stay indoors last nite and today

crèche is closed today and tomorrow and I've already done all my hours...yippee so I get at least 5 days off
