So far I have washed, dried and put back up nine net curtains. We are old  fashioned like that 

 

One pair of curtains washed, dried and put back up. One pair on the line drying and one pair in the washer  

 

Two pairs to go but I may only get one pair of those done today

I'm old fashioned too Moonie ....I washed my nets a couple of weeks ago  My old bed has been collected ...and I've ironed new  duvet cover ready to put on when the hew one , hopefully, arrives tomorrow afternoon . Plants are watered and Inchy has departed for the dentist , so I'm having some downtime ....it's been a long day 

 And I thought I had had a busy

Yes , I will be glad to get back in my own room .....the spare bedroom doesn't have blackout curtains ....although it does have a blind ....but it's far to light for me ....I had a dreadful night last night ....and that's without the heat !!

I hate to say it, but I'm getting that problem (have had for about a week), where my typing is way behind me - it happens when we get very 'long'

Yes, it did sound a bit weird  You know when our thread gets very long, I start to have a long hesitation after typing every letter, so it all appears about 10 seconds after I type it

Morning Darnies Yet another early morning scramble !! Bed people rang at 9 to ask if instead of delivering between 2-6 , could they come between 11-3 .... Of course Mr B is nowhere to be seen as he is at dentist again , so Baz .....who definitely does not do mornings these days ...had to jump to and get a wriggle on ! As for the heat ...,enough said ... I've not long had a shower and I'm  wilting already  Anyway , hope everyone else is having a nice , relaxing day  Catch you later 

Bed has arrived and looks .....and feels fab  .....and delivery guys were great ....very efficient , polite and friendly ....in fact I give the whole company....from salesman to product .... 5 star  Roll on bedtime

Great news about the bed and the delivery guys 

Over the past two days I have washed all the net curtains, all the draw curtains and even put a new curtain rail up the front window 

 Also did two washers full of "ordinary" washing, which is now dry too. All washed out now 

It's red hot here too

Yes , new bed arrived today ....just got curtains to put up once they have taken them up 

Good idea getting someone else to take them up what's your next project?  

around mid 40's I'd say, he had cancer. I'm glad he's free but gutted for his wife & children
