Yes, ours was on the edge of ( what was then) the village ....we used to walk a lot quicker on the outward journey ...Mind you we stopped off for several gluwhein on the way back

The most interesting part of the day was having to pretend I spoke German everywhere I went. Because my friend is German (and she talks to everyone everywhere at every opportunity) people would assume I was too....I got very good at smiling and nodding in the correct places

No, I had lessons all day for 5 of the days, so I was otherwise engaged. The people I went with did though, although one of them had to hot foot it back to the hotel after an hour as she was unwell.

She had a 24 hour stomach bug, so she had to have a day and half off the slopes. It was a miracle that I didn't catch it, considering we were sharing a room.

Right, I'm off to bed. I need to keep my foot up as much as possible before tomorrow. I think my toe might be infected....unless it's elevated it's extremely painful so I am not looking forward to walking about all day tomorrow!
I wouldn't mind so much if I'd got it from falling while attempting some impressive skiing manoeuvre.
