Hi Darnies.

Just a quick update. I looked at the penthouse in the villa. The property was very nice, the bedrooms were a nice size and it's a spacious apartment. The kitchen new and lots of nice Velux windows letting light in everywhere. The bathroom is lovely with underfloor heating and both a bath and a shower. There is a bigger than expected utility room which could also double up as an office, the developer told me I could have a Velux window put in if need be. Although I think it's better as a place to store hoovers and other bits and bobs. The whole building has been renovated and has a new roof on which I could see. The only downside is the internet connection is pants and I can't do anything to change it as the building is protected and can't have cables on the outside. The street is very quiet and has a lot of old trees on it.

Also looked at a 2 bed duplex in the town centre which overlooks the Peace Gardens and the old town hall (there was an anti Donald Trump rally in progress and I could hear the odd cheers - but nothing too bed). This property has been lived in for a while and needs some redecoration. Decent sized kitchen and usable living room but has a nice addition of a storage cupboard under the stairs - good size). Both bedrooms are a good size and the property is on balance quite good. I would however want to knock down the ÂĢ200,000 asking price if I went for it. No parking though and that is becoming more a priority, so may go against it.

Will try and get a look at the three bed in Hillsborough this week.

Evening EC  Shame about the Internet in the first one , cos it's sounds nice ....but that would make it a no no fir me  Fingers crossed for the one tomorrow

Internet is not very good in either of the places I viewed today. They need to sort that out as it is becoming more important especially for streaming!

No viewings tomorrow - I did 2 today, going to setup another for probably Thursday.

The beauty about two of the other properties is that they have Virginmedia 200mb broadband, which is what I have now.
