Exhausting! Duds phoned me while I was in bed and we spent an hour and a half chatting on the phone.... finally was allowed to go to sleep at 2am
Gas man turned up at 8am
and then work called me at 9am to ask me to come in and sign a cheque urgently.
I was planning to go to work for 1pm but ended up there the whole day. Then went to my sisters to hear the latest regarding her love life.
And just to top things off, Pops has weed on the sofa today - and by the looks of her, she continued to lay in it for a while (so a bath was in order). That's a bit of a turning point for her.
I've cleaned it up as best I can, and I've ordered some waterproof covers to be delivered tomorrow.
So not the best of days.

Duds is having a ball. He's been up the new World Trade Centre tower and around the memorial and museum today. He is a bit horrified about the amount of people taking thumbs up selfies near the footprints - he says it seems very disrespectful, bless him. He's currently on the way to New Jersey to get some photos of the Manhattan skyline from over there.
I am getting such regular updates that I'm surprised he's managed to find time to do anything at all

Me too!
He went to McDonalds for breakfast this morning and has reported that they do not do Bacon Rolls. I thought he might have a full on melt down at that and want to come home, but luckily he discovered a sausage mcmuffin is a worthy substitute.
So I was wrong about the Burger King

A couple of weeks ago, my niece's boyfriend told her he is "gender fluid" and has previously kissed a boy - since then neither of them have mentioned it again. She was so drunk at the time that she can't remember the end of the conversation, so we have been speculating that he also told her he takes part in regular orgies with 20 plus other lads and he now believes her to be the worlds coolest girlfriend cos she hasn't brought it up again or made a fuss about it
