I managed to get home from work in time yesterday to wave him off! He's just landed .... he had wifi on his plane so I've been given constant updates and photos He's currently in the queue for a taxi.  

Awwww Glad he's arrived safely Ducky Hope your work day went well too  

Well, he survived the flight.... but he's being driven by a mad man at the moment, so I won't count my chickens  

Work was fairly ok. No tears at least .... but I did have to refuse entry to a boy with a huuuuuuge tattoo on his neck! He didn't quite have the grades, so I didn't have to refuse him on the basis of the tattoo but I don't know what we would have done otherwise.  I've not had to worry about tattoos before. Eye brow piercings about as far as they normally try to push it

Oh, that's weird. The clock on my laptop has stopped. I've been thinking it was quarter past eight for the past couple of hours. 

(Embarrassingly slow on the uptake there)

Ok...the clock hasn't actually stopped. The bottom bar has just frozen. I may need to turn it off and on again.
