Fine thanks - all went well with Mum's hospital appointment - we got a parking space right by the entrance - a major miracle  I had a haircut this evening too!

My day went from good to worse We will defo be getting a new car now .....the darn catalytic converter on the exhaust blew ........would cost ..£200 to fix....so that was the last straw , and sealed the deal !! Inchy went to talk to the dealer ...came back with some figures ....think we will be going back tomorrow  

Oh maaaan!    I wish I could win some money for me mates    

That's good scatt, it's so much easier when you can get parked near the door isn't it!

Awww thanks Sprout It's not going to be easy, but we cant keep throwing good money after bad ....and it is 10 years old , so not going to get any easier  

Sounds like it's best to cut your losses baz, I hope your new car is ready as soon as possible how exciting!

Not sure about exciting.....cars don't do anything for me  But yes, we had sort of been umming about it ....then Inchy went to drop his prescription off , and bang ! Well we liked the blue , but they only have that in the next level up ....and it would have cost another £10 + a month . So ......going for white I think

Good I suspect I will be dragged to the dealer I was going to have a nice day to myself , as Inchy was off to see his relative ....but the exhaust blowing put paid to that!

Oh, it's really nice Baz - our neighbours have got one and they love it.  Mark is about 6'4" and he says he has no trouble with it - it's surprisingly spacious!

  Oh dear - well, I shouldn't let Inchy go on his own, you know what he's like with B&Q
