Good afternoon Darnies   

Drizzle then a hot blast, some sun, now a nice cool breeze. Rain promised for later 

Went into the bank, three people at two tills, ten in front of me. Ten minutes later. Still no movement. Another cashier on now. Still at least another ten minutes wait 

Then onto the council to pay the rent. At least eighteen people in front of me. Four cashiers on so not to bad but still another ten to fifteen minutes wait 

It's council tax, water payments and rent day so I should have known I guess 

Still all sorted now. Have a good day everyone   

Afternoon moonie I don't know about you but a part of me doesn't mind queuing because I know staff are busy and I'm pretty patient, but.. What a waste of time! I always think of far better things I could have been doing

Yes I loved my alpines along the wall so much that I decided to build a rockery! I used some leftover bricks that were left here when I moved in, to shape the edge and I've been collecting rocks on my walks. It's taking shape faster than I expected

Judging by the number of sofa snoozes I'm indulging in per day....I'd say no?  Although that could have something to do with the tummy bug I suffered with yesterday. I had an evening of throwing up.  Woke up fine again this morning though - so it was short lived thankfully

That's a cool way to do it!  I love a good rockery  

When I made my garden a few years ago, I ended up making a rockery - mainly because it saved me a few trips down the tip with the earth I had moved to make the patio - but I love it now! It's the prettiest bit of my garden!

Maybe something I ate? It only lasted a few hours? And it only affected the top end, if you know what I mean  So I reckon my tummy was very quick to reject whatever it was.
