No, they don't do them until they are really bad ....then they peel them off But be warned ....sunlight makes them get worse faster ...so make sure he has decent sunglasses

I think reactolites are probably the best ....that way they just change to dark I have tinted  glasses, but am getting reactolites next month

he said the optician advised him about the sunglasses but he couldn't remember what he said...all he could think about was that he was going blind!!

No , they don't hurt Sweet ....they just make your sight blurry ....and gradually get worse and worse ...

Well, apart from the flipping weather. No rain they said 

It flipping rained just when I got me washing out 

Fetched it in. It stopped. It's out again now

i have finally finished wallpapering the hall, stairs and landing, those long drops were scary, and i only fell down the stairs once

just some glossing to do this weekend, which has to be finished as the new carpet comes on tuesday
