Yeah, I love it! I use it mostly for Netflix, BBC iplayer and Spotify. I don't know whether it would be worth it if I had normal TV... but then it doesn't cost much, so it's probably worth it just to use Netflix on the TV instead of a laptop screen.

You can watch Netflix (if you have a subscription of course), BBC iplayer and 4oD. You can also watch stuff on Amazon if you have a prime subsciption (so a bit like Netflix), and also you can buy stuff to watch from Amazon (I pay to watch Walking Dead every week for example).

Good question! I don't know. But I know loads of people have them and they sell them in shops

I would imagine the box itself is perfectly legal.... but things get a little less so depending on what links you use maybe?  

I got a fire stick as I wasn't watching many things and the stick just happened to be handy for the things I do watch. Now I have it, I'm finding myself searching for more stuff to watch! Cos now I'm in the habit of watching something while I'm on the treadmill, while I'm marking books, while I'm having my tea....the list is getting longer by the day I might as well just give in and get a TV aerial.

The main reason I have it is so I can watch Netflix on the TV screen rather than my laptop. 

Sorry ducky, I had problems ordering some goods on Amazon. All taken care of now, the customer service Chap was very helpful

Pretty busy baz, but smoothly and on schedule so far  I did bump into a couple of different people unexpectedly today, which diverted me somewhat, but it proved to be productive in other ways. Funny how life is like that sometimes, I feel like things are falling into place.

I can't find it cheaper anywhere than £299.99, and the others are £300 so it's much of a muchness really. I didn't want to pay that but for the size I need it's going to have to be
