It's set so that the screen uses softer tones at night ...not so much white/glare  , which is supposed to help us late night screen users sleep better At least I think that's right

Okay, well I have noticed that when my room is darker, the tone is dark but when I have the light on like now, it's lighter. Not supposed to work like that is it? 

I have to say it's been like that since I have had this new iPad though...
